Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you use skippacoaching.com and my other pages, apply for coaching, book a call, or receive emails or text messages from me. By using the site you agree to them. "I", "me" and "Skippa Coaching" mean Simon Agostinelli; "you" means the person using the site.
1. Coaching is covered by the Coaching Agreement
If you buy coaching, the Skippa Coaching Services Agreement sets out what you get, the price and payment options, the Finish Guarantee and its conditions, cancellations, and the health and liability terms. You accept it when you pay. If anything on this site differs from the Coaching Agreement, the Coaching Agreement applies.
2. Applications and calls
- Applying or booking a call doesn't create a coaching agreement or oblige either of us to anything.
- I may decline to coach anyone, including when I don't believe I can get you to your chosen race in the time available.
- Please give accurate information when you apply, especially about your health and running history. I rely on it to decide whether coaching is safe and suitable for you.
- If you can't make a booked call, please reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation.
3. Health and safety
The content on this site, in my emails, my free playbook and my social media is general information based on my own experience as an ultrarunner and coach. It is not medical advice, and I'm not a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian. Running long distances carries a risk of injury and illness. Check with your doctor or another qualified health professional before starting any training programme, particularly if you have an injury or a health condition. You take part in any training at your own risk, except where the law says otherwise.
4. Prices and payments
Prices are in Australian dollars. Payments are processed by third-party providers (currently Whop and Stripe), and I never see your card details. Refunds are governed by the Coaching Agreement, including the Finish Guarantee.
5. Text messages (SMS)
If you give me your mobile number and agree to receive texts, you'll get messages about your application and booking (confirmations and reminders), coaching check-ins and support, and, only if you've agreed, occasional updates about my coaching. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email me. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See the Privacy Policy for how your number is handled.
6. Emails
If you sign up for the playbook or apply for coaching, I may email you. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
7. Content and intellectual property
Everything on this site and in my emails and plans, including text, videos, photos, training plans and the playbook, belongs to me unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to use it for your own training. You may not copy, sell, republish or share it commercially without my written permission.
8. Results
Race results and stories on this site are real, but everyone's body, week and race are different. Except for the Finish Guarantee in the Coaching Agreement, I don't promise any particular result.
9. Other websites
This site links to other websites and tools, such as booking pages, payment pages, Instagram and race websites. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Subject to that, I'm not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or its general content, and the site is provided "as is" without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free.
11. Privacy
How I collect and use your personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don't affect a Coaching Agreement you've already entered into.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and I submit to the courts of Victoria.
